Let's celebrate the milestone of turning two at a flower farm!
This family is near to my heart and it was a joy to have the chance to photograph sweet Luna. Becoming two years old is a big deal and love that we could capture this moment in time.
When we were trying to decide on the best location, we wanted something that would showcase her personality and allow a safe place for Luna to explore. Toddlers are full of energy and mastering those new skills of walking, running, and climbing. They are also using their senses and language skills in new ways. We decided that Royal Oaks Farm would be the perfect environment to allow her to be a toddler and provide a beautiful backdrop.
We then discussed what would be the best time of day for Luna. She is an early riser, so a morning photoshoot was ideal. July has also been extremely hot which meant the morning was a win-win for everyone.
When we arrived at the farm, we assessed the sun and looked for the perfect lighting. The plan was to capture those candid photos that showcased her love for exploring and her use of imagination. Her vocabulary is so clear and she can make small sentences already! Listening to her share what she was exploring was a joy.
We started the session by letting her explore the rows of flowers then moved to the wooden boat play set.
Natalie and Zack,
Thank you for the opportunity to
capture these moments in time for you!
She is an absolute sweetheart.
XO,
Wendy

A reminder to take the picture and capture that moment in time, before it's gone.
