Get ready, some sweet dance and flower farm senior images coming your way in this blog post.

Emma's mom reached out in the spring to begin the planning process for her daughter's senior sessions. We started by thinking about what would capture Emma's personality. Her love of dance and nature, especially flowers were top of the list which helped us decide on dates, locations, and outfits. 

The Meadow View Photography Senior collection that they chose, allowed them to break her session into two different days. This allowed one evening for dance and one evening for flower fields. 

Many thanks to the Palmyra Academy of Dance for opening its doors and allowing us to use the beautiful dance studio for the first evening of portraits. The space is breathtaking, with wooden floors, large windows, crown molding, mirrors, and amazing sunlight. It provided an unbelievable backdrop to highlight Emma's love for dancing. We were also very thankful to be indoors for her photos because we were having record-high heat, humidity, and thunderstorms in the forecast.  

The second night we headed to Country Joy Flowers in Lebanon County. Thanks to the rain the day before we had a decrease in temperature and humidity. County Joy Flower Farm is a favorite location for picking flowers and senior sessions. Emma and her mom enjoyed arriving early and picking a gallon bucket of flowers before her senior session. 

We had so much fun capturing images in the rows and rows of beautiful flowers, with the vintage truck, the greenhouse, and the farm as a backdrop. Her mom was a genius and brought a portable clothing rack to hold Emma's outfits for the session. It was perfect and allowed us to plan and organize her outfits for the evening.
