A gorgeous November day with a beautiful family!
Someone once told me as a young parent that the "days are long but the years are short." Isn't that the truth? Time doesn't stop and somehow as they get older it seems to move much faster.
The Sheppards reached out for family photos because their oldest daughter would be graduating high school and heading off to college the following year. I'm so happy we could capture these photos and freeze this moment in time.
They are a busy sports family and it took some time to align schedules! Juggling four kids' school and sports schedules is not an easy task! We were patient and hopeful that a window of opportunity would open and thankful when it did! Can you believe that Mother Nature then decided to snow on their session day? No worries, we found another day and the weather was perfect!
Penny's wish was for pictures with the Hershey smoke stacks in the background! This was the perfect location with the smokestacks, bridge, creek, stones, and metal gate as a background.
It was a gift and I feel so lucky to get to capture their family photos.
Best wishes to the the Sheppards as they get ready for this next chapter of your family's story, and to Claire as you head off to college! Exciting times for all.
XO,
Wendy
