It was a wonderful time to capture the behind-the-scenes and branding images for the talented home stage owner of Blue Stone Home Staging.
In today's highly visual world, your brand’s image is one of your most valuable assets. A professional branding photography session is a tool that can elevate your brand, and yet it is often overlooked. A professional branding session is more than snapping a few headshots- branding photography helps you visually communicate the personality, style, and values of your business.
In February, Lisa and I met in person and started the conversation about what a branding session might look like and what her wishes were for a session. She wanted to wait for the right house that would showcase her brand and her team's amazing work. In August, we reconnected as she was going to be staging a home that she felt would be perfect for a branding session. We had a consultation call and scheduled two sessions!
Some key points that we discussed for the branding session:
1. Showcasing her unique style and ensuring we highlighted her signature look through carefully styled photos that reflected her expertise. For example, we captured images that showed how her team transformed an empty room. Home staging is a process and we wanted to ensure we captured pictures that showed that process. There is a lot of thought and detail that goes into every decision! They are an amazing team and loved that I had the opportunity to watch them work their magic.
2. Building trust and connection with clients. We captured photos of Lisa and her team in action. These photos help create a connection by showcasing their style. People are more likely to trust and hire someone they feel they "know." Showcasing Lisa's personality and approach, adds an authentic, approachable element that represents her brand.
3. Marketing materials for her to use across all her marketing platforms was a priority. We discussed what the images would be used for and what platforms. For example, in some of the images, we left negative space to allow the opportunity to add text. What story would they convey and how could she use one image in different ways?
4. Unique personalized images were important to Lisa and will help her stand out in what can be a crowded market. We had fun and captured her love for her work. These unique, personalized images will allow her to communicate her distinct value, helping you attract clients who are drawn to her style and professionalism.
5. Another topic we discussed was content longevity. We wanted to ensure that the branding photography session gave her content that she could use over and over again. We captured a variety of shots- headshots, action shots, behind-the-scenes images, and styled spaces. It was important to me that she had a library of images that would serve her marketing needs for months or even years.
Lisa,
Thank you for two great days and for trusting me with branding photography for your business. You and your team are very talented. Not a single detail is overlooked as you stage a house. Thanks for a wonderful time.
XO,
Wendy
