Ling reached out in June and knew she wanted fall senior pictures. She loved the colors of fall and decided that The Hershey Gardens would be the perfect location to capture her senior photos.
The weather decided to rain on our schedule and plans more than once. We had to reschedule due to rain but the third time was the charm. We started Ling's senior photos in the butterfly house and couldn't believe that she had the opportunity to hold not one but two beautiful butterflies! Did you know that butterflies symbolize freedom, beauty, and love? They are delicate and possess immense power. Love that symbolism and how it relates to a high-schooler or college student's senior year.
We headed to the beautiful rose garden and strolled through the rows and rows of beautiful roses. This allowed us to capture those gorgeous natural unposed photos of Ling. The colors were amazing and we focused on flowers that were Ling's favorite colors, especially the purple roses.
During the planning sessions, she shared that she wanted to have photos that included red and orange and we found the perfect Japanese maple tree. The colors of the leaves were the perfect backdrop to complement Ling.
Ling's favorite quote is "Work hard it pays off" by Niki Minaj. Ling embodies this quote with the many activities she juggles while remaining focused on academics, family, and friends!
Thank you Ling for letting us capture part of your senior story and being an MVP Senior. It was a super fun day with you and your mom. Wishing you a fantastic senior year!
XO,
Wendy
