Certain birthdays cause us to reflect a little deeper, be a little more grateful, and provide the desire to celebrate in a big way. Maybe it's because we have settled into who we are, with years of wisdom behind us, and excited for the new adventures ahead. What better way to capture the spirit of this moment than with a special birthday portrait session? 

Tonia decided to embrace this idea and celebrate her birthday with a portrait session in this amazing green flying dress. It wasn't just about capturing images, it was about honoring the journey and the person she's become. 

From the first call, Tonia knew exactly what she wanted. Our job was to bring her wishes to life and let me tell you, this is one of our favorite sessions! After talking through a few location ideas, she decided on the Harrisburg State Capital. The beautiful architecture of the Capital provided many different location options in one place. A sunset session was scheduled for September which would provide the most perfect natural light. She chose the most gorgeous green flying dress that highlighted her natural beauty! 

She brought her niece along to assist and I was thankful that Tony could join me as an assistant. The weather was perfect with a slight breeze that helped to send the dress flying!
